Nixer is set to unveil its IB2 SPDIF-Dante converter at the upcoming Integrated Systems Europe event this month.
This compact device allows for the conversion of 2 channels of S/PDIF input to Dante and vice versa, with convenient connectivity options.
The IB2 SPDIF-Dante converter is equipped with an RJ45 connector for easy integration into the Dante network. Users can also access its web control interface and power it using PoE (Power over Ethernet). Alternatively, it can be powered via the USB-C connector.
At the rear of the unit, you’ll find a Toslink optical input and an RCA input, which can be selected as the active input connector through the web interface. The output is available on both the Toslink optical output and RCA output, allowing simultaneous usage.
Key Features of the IB2 SPDIF-Dante
Compact dimensions (121mm x 23mm x 92mm) with pre-set mounting holes
Supports 2 channels in and 2 channels out
Flexible selection between SPDIF input (coax or optical) and SPDIF output (coax and optical)
