Nanlux has introduced a new NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° for its Evoke series LED spotlights, including the Evoke 900C, 1200, 1200B, and 2400B models.
This accessory was highly requested by gaffers and DPs. It provides advanced control over zoom, focusing, cutting, and gobo projection, ensuring a powerful and well-controlled beam of light.
Precision Optical Lens
The NL Mount projection attachment features a precision optical lens designed specifically for the Evoke series. It offers excellent performance in controlling light loss, chromatic aberration, and distortion while achieving a high beam uniformity of 78% (with 0.88% distortion measured at 3m with 15°).
Enhanced Illuminance
The attachment mounts securely to the fixture via the NL mount and enhances the light’s illuminance up to 7.5 times (32,720 lux @3m 15°, 5600K) compared to the light alone. This is achieved through the lens’s high-efficiency optical design and excellent light transmission.
Flexible Beam Adjustment
The 90-degree rotatable lens barrel allows users to adjust the beam angle without moving the shutter or gobo. Each shutter can be adjusted independently for precise control, and the 18-blade iris diaphragm creates a rounded beam shape. The built-in rod allows users to adjust the beam size and lock it in place.
Gobo Projection
The attachment includes four gobos that can be installed in the gobo holder to project various patterns. It is compatible with standard A size gobos available on the market.
Gel Frame for Color Output
A gel frame is included, allowing users to insert gels for daylight or bicolor light output.
Quick Setup and Secure Mounting
The integrated yoke, with adjustable handles on both sides, allows for quick setup. The design ensures proper weight distribution and balance when mounted. The 15° offset design of the yoke allows for a larger downward angle on a light stand while maintaining stability.
Durable Construction
The body of the NL Mount Projection Attachment is constructed of aluminum alloy and durable nylon, weighing just under 12kg (26.4 lb). It includes protective covers for both ends to prevent dust and scratches, as well as an eyebolt for attaching a safety cable. A fastening knob limits movement during downward projection.
Enhanced Heat Resistance
The aluminum alloy construction enhances heat resistance, and the design ensures passive cooling. The aluminum body provides optimal heat conduction, while external heat sink fins improve cooling efficiency.
Included Flight Case
The NL Mount projection attachment comes in a durable flight case designed for frequent transportation. The case has an aluminum alloy structure with impact-resistant corner bumpers and internal linings to ensure safe transport.
