Ross Video, the creator of the openGear modular frame system, has announced that their openGear Leader Partners will be showcasing their latest products compatible with openGear at the Integrated Systems Europe Conference (ISE) 2024. This includes companies like AJA Video Systems, Apantac, Cobalt Digital, MultiDyne, Ross Video, and VITEC. These demonstrations will take place both on the show floor and on their respective websites, highlighting how the openGear platform integrates with the DashBoard control and monitoring ecosystem.
openGear Frame Debuts at HDBaseT Alliance Stand
A new addition to this year’s event is the display and use of the openGear frame at the HDBaseT Alliance stand (2P500). Apantac, an openGear Leader Partner, will be featuring its two new HDBaseT 3 extenders and receivers. These devices are capable of transmitting uncompressed 4K, 2K, HD, 3D, audio, and control signals (RS232, IR) using HDBaseT technology.

Innovative openGear Solutions on Display
- AJA Video Systems (ISE stand 4F100) will showcase its latest 12G-SDI openGear cards. These cards, including OG-12G-AM and OG-12G-AMA, offer audio embedding/disembedding and 12G-SDI input/output up to 4K/UltraHD. AJA’s OG-Hi5-12G and OG-HA5-12G cards provide 12G-SDI to HDMI conversion and are available in fiber models.
- Apantac (ISE stand 5H600) is expanding its openGear ProAV card portfolio with SDVoE cards and HDMI KVM extender/receiver boards based on HDBaseT 3 technology. These cards are designed for high-density applications and support 4K 60 Hz.
- COBALT will feature its PACIFIC Compression line, including the ultra low-latency PACIFIC ULL-DEC openGear card and the PACIFIC 9992-ENC encoder for less than 1 frame end-to-end latency.
- MultiDyne announces the mid-2024 launch of its openGear JPEG-XS Codecs and ST-2110 Gateway cards, offering high-efficiency encoding/decoding and network interfacing.
- Ross Video (ISE stand 5J880) will present its Quorum meeting control solution based on the DashBoard system, tailored for government and corporate meetings.
- VITEC (ISE stand 5C300) will demonstrate its IPTV distribution solutions, utilizing the MGW Diamond openGear card series for encoding live video feeds.
