Wohler Technologies announced a new module option, OPT-RMOC-12G, for its iSeries and in-rack Audio and Video monitoring products.

This new module allows for the upgrade of 3G-SDI monitors to 12G-SDI (4K) capability. It features a single BNC and an SFP cage for 12G/3G SDI or ST2110 (@1080p) input, compatible with most 1U and 2U iSeries in-rack monitors. When installed in the option card slot, OPT-RMOC-12G can monitor 16 audio channels (iAM & iVAM Series) and a single video input on the iVAM Series. Users can select audio and video from sources connected directly to the card or from inputs on the in-rack monitor.

Wohler’s Commitment to Future-Proof Solutions

Wohler Technologies is known for creating scalable, modular, and future-proof products. The new module supports industry-standard I/O baseband and IP audio formats, including Dante, Ravenna, AES67, DD+, Dolby ATMOS, MPEG-H, SMPTE2110, 2022-6, 2022-7, and AES, along with Analog and MADI. Wohler offers both audio-only and audio & video capable monitor models.

Enhanced Remote Monitoring

A notable feature of the OPT-RMOC-12G module is its compatibility with Wohler’s new MAVRIC Cloud-based monitoring solution. MAVRIC is a software-based solution that allows users to monitor video, audio, audio bars, levels, and loudness via a web browser. It includes a mobile application for Apple and Android devices, facilitating centralized alerts and communications (voice, video, or chat) within MAVRIC. This feature enhances team collaboration by providing unified monitoring capabilities.
