- What are the main trends of IBC 2023, in your opinion?
This has been a wonderful show. We are here in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, showcasing our brand-new PTZOptics cameras to our customers. We’re meeting people from a variety of industries and are also on the lookout for other consultants present here.
We’re excited about our brand-new PTZOptics “Move” camera. This is our new affordable model which offers HDMI, SDI, USB, and is upgradeable for NDI. It provides pan, tilt, and zoom controls and is available with 12x, 20x, and 30x lenses. It’s popularly used in houses of worship, businesses, healthcare settings like hospitals, and various government facilities, including courtrooms.

Are there any developments in integrating AI into your solutions?
Good question. In our new camera line, we’ve incorporated computer vision. Computer vision, a subset of AI, enables the camera to recognize and automatically follow a person. Our specific computer vision feature, called “Presenter Lock,” locks onto a specific individual and tracks their movement. This capability is built directly into the camera, eliminating the need for additional software.
