The event will take place from August 20 to 22 at Centro do Convenções, São Paulo, with Pebble stationed at stand 46a.
Emphasis on Security and Resilience in Playout Systems
Security and resilience are essential in broadcast infrastructure, especially for mission-critical playout systems. Pebble’s software is developed to ensure seamless and uninterrupted output. The new Automation 2.0 is an updated version of its widely-used playout platform, designed to support complex channels with dynamic scheduling and live interventions.
Scalable and Customizable Automation
Automation 2.0 is customizable and scalable, supporting operations from a single service to hundreds of channels across multiple locations. It integrates with asset management, traffic, and scheduling systems and controls a wide range of devices in multi-vendor environments.
Integrated Channel Device Demonstration
At SET Expo 2024, Pebble will also demonstrate its integrated channel device, which provides audio, video, and graphics functionality in a compact, cost-effective unit. This software replicates all the functions of a traditional broadcast playout chain and allows rapid changes between workflows and assignments.
David Kicks, VP Sales for the Americas at Pebble, stated that the company offers solutions for small to large operations, whether on-premises, multi-site, or cloud-based, and supports both SDI and IP. Pebble’s systems provide operational clarity, redundancy for resilience, and a security architecture designed to counter cyber threats.
