PHABRIX, along with its parent company Leader Electronics, is set to present a comprehensive range of test and measurement solutions tailored for various applications in the broadcast and media industries at the upcoming NAB Show 2024.

Enhancements in the Qx Series
The Qx Series, known for its rasterizers and waveform monitors, has been updated to support the detection and analysis of SMPTE Full Range video standards. This improvement allows users to ensure the highest quality for their content by providing options to generate video in Full Range, Full Protected Range, or Narrow Range in IP ST-2110, and either Full Range or Narrow Range in IP ST 2022-6 and SDI. Moreover, the series now includes an analyzer capable of verifying color content across different video formats.
Additional updates to the Qx Series featured at the NAB Show will include:
- An advanced EUHD option in the QxL rasterizer and QxP portable waveform monitor, supporting UHD and 4K HFR extended video formats in ST 2110, beneficial for video walls and advanced media processing applications.
- Legacy SD analysis addition, facilitating a comprehensive range of support from SD to HD to UHD to EUHD formats without the need for changing equipment.
New Features in Rx and Sx Series
PHABRIX will also demonstrate recent enhancements to its Rx and Sx Series:
- The Rx Series of advanced rasterizers has been upgraded with Enhanced Gamut Monitoring capabilities, adding to the 6-bar gamut toolset introduced in 2023. This feature aids in 2K/3G/HD/SD signal generation, analysis, and monitoring.
- The Sx Series, known for its handheld instruments, will feature the Sx TAG hybrid IP/SDI and analog generation, analysis, and video/audio monitoring device, showcasing the versatility and portability of PHABRIX’s solutions.
This year’s NAB Show attendees are invited to explore PHABRIX’s latest innovations designed to meet the needs of on-set, studio production, post-production, broadcast QC, and video technology manufacturing facilities.
