The highlight will be the latest edition to the Qx suite of products, the QxP next-generation portable waveform monitor, a groundbreaking solution designed to meet the demands of today’s hybrid environments.
Test & measurement innovator, PHABRIX, announces its participation at SATIS 2023, which takes place from 15-16 November at La Plaine Saint-Denis, Paris, France. During the event, PHABRIX will highlight its QxP portable waveform monitor with regional distributor TEVIOS.
PHABRIX solutions revolutionize the way broadcast and media professionals monitor and analyze their content, offering full support of SD, HD, UHD, SDR, HDR, SDI, IP, conventional, and remote/decentralized production techniques.
The QxP features a highly adaptable architecture influenced by the acclaimed QxL rasterizer. It comes equipped with a built-in 3U multi-touch LCD screen and offers users the convenience of V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery plates for improved portability. This versatile toolset seamlessly integrates waveform monitoring, signal generation, and analysis functionalities to address a wide range of production requirements.
At the core of the QxP is PHABRIX’s patented waveform technology, delivering a high-resolution image processing pipeline that accommodates deep color sources up to 12-bits. This guarantees exceptional details for tasks such as camera shading or image grading. Users will find a range of display options to suit their requirements, including overlay, stacked, and parade display modes, each available in multi-colored, highlighted, green, or monochrome traces. Additionally, the QxP offers the convenience of nits scales and user-controlled nits markers for various formats, including SDR, HLG, PQ, S-Log3, and SR-live HDR. With support for Rec 709 and Rec 2020 colormetry across a broad spectrum of YCbCr:422, RGB:444, SDI, HD/2K/UHD/4K/EUHD formats, the QxP demonstrates PHABRIX’s renowned versatility.
Martin Mulligan, CEO, PHABRIX, comments, “We’re excited to be a part of SATIS this year alongside our regional distributor TEVIOS, to demonstrate our new QxP to the market. Having recently been awarded ‘Best in Show’ at IBC, the QxP reaffirms our commitment to pushing the boundaries of excellence in supporting broadcasters, especially those looking to adopt new production workflows. We look forward to engaging with participants and visitors, as well as forging new partnerships during the show.”
