PHABRIX highlights its innovative test & measurement tools, emphasizing SDI-to-IP transition support.

PHABRIX, a pioneer in test & measurement (T&M) solutions, is set to present a comprehensive array of its top compact and handheld T&M tools at Inter BEE 2023. The event, scheduled from 15-17 November at Makuhari Messe, Japan, will see PHABRIX collaborating with its parent company, Leader Electronics. The spotlight will be on the QxP waveform monitor, QxL compact rasterizer, and the handheld toolsets: Sx TAG and SxE.

Inter BEE, recognized as Japan’s premier media event, serves as a nexus for professionals to delve into the rapidly evolving media landscape. PHABRIX has consistently marked its presence at this annual event, leveraging it as a platform to engage with its existing clientele and potential customers from Northeast Asia, while also showcasing the latest offerings from its dynamic R&D wing.

This year, PHABRIX emphasizes its portable T&M solutions, designed to support both traditional SDI and the emerging IP workflows. The QxP, a standout in the PHABRIX lineup, was introduced as a unique take on the traditional Waveform Monitor. It boasts 12G SDI and 25G IP professional monitoring, integrating features from the QxL rasterizer, including a 3U multitouch LCD screen, V-Mount or Gold-Mount battery plate, and a 12v external DC input. The QxL, also to be displayed, supports ST 2110 and 2022-6 on 10G/25G SFP28 interfaces, catering to real-time UHD UP workflows on 25G networks.

Highlighting its versatility, PHABRIX will also present its renowned handheld devices. The Sx TAG, an advanced generation, analysis, and monitoring toolset, is tailored for IP, 3G/HD/SD-SDI, optical SDI, HDMI, and analog T&M. It also supports AES eye analysis, making it perfect for applications requiring mobility and user-friendliness. The SxE, another featured toolset, is designed for 3G/SD/HD workflows.

Martin Mulligan, PHABRIX’s CEO, remarked, “Inter BEE remains a pivotal event for us in Northeast Asia. As many regional broadcasters transition from SDI to IP operations, our hybrid IP/SDI products are primed to facilitate this shift seamlessly. We’re eager to demonstrate to Inter BEE attendees the advantages our tools offer in adopting and maintaining next-gen workflows.”
