The event drew over 12,000 attendees, with 75% not attending the larger NAB Show in Las Vegas. PlayBox Neo reported forming new customer relationships and renewing commitments from existing clients during the event.
Focus on SMPTE ST 2110 Support and Cloud Solutions
At the event, PlayBox Neo showcased its media playout and broadcast solutions, including its AirBox Neo-20 system, Capture Suite for content ingest, and Media Gateway for live media delivery. The company also highlighted its Channel-in-a-Box suite and the cloud-based Cloud2TV solution.
PlayBox Neo introduced support for SMPTE ST 2110 IP input/output, allowing media organizations to utilize scalable media infrastructure over Ethernet networks instead of dedicated physical cables. This enables the addition of video, audio, and metadata streams without the need for new infrastructure.
Expanding U.S. Clientele
Over the past year, PlayBox Neo has expanded its U.S. customer base, including NBC affiliate WJFW, Island TV in Miami, Orange TV, Roberts Communications Network, TVW, and News12 Long Island. The company’s modular solutions manage the entire workflow from ingest to playout, offering flexibility for channels of all sizes.
