Pliant Technologies Unveils New CRP-C12 Radio Pack at NAB 2024

Pliant Technologies recently introduced its CRP-C12 Compact Radio Pack at the 2024 National Association of Broadcasters Show.

This device represents a significant advancement in communication technology, being specifically developed to integrate seamlessly with any CrewCom or CrewCom CB2 system.

Design and Specifications

The CRP-C12 sets a new standard in the market as one of the smallest professional radio packs available, with dimensions of about 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches (approximately 9 cm x 9 cm) and a weight of just under 9 ounces (around 255 grams). Despite its compact size—being at least 25 percent smaller and 30 percent lighter than the majority of existing beltpacks—it does not sacrifice functionality. It supports all standard CrewCom frequency bands, including 900MHz and 2.4GHz, making it versatile for global use.

Advanced Features for Enhanced Performance

Equipped with advanced features, the CRP-C12 maintains high performance levels. It facilitates up to two user-specific assignable conferences and allows for simultaneous listening across both. Additionally, it includes two programmable function buttons that users can customize for various commands such as stage announcements or calls.

User-Centric Design for Ease of Use

Attention to user convenience is evident in the CRP-C12’s design. It features an informational backlit LED display and top-mounted controls for channel selection, talking, dual-function buttons, and volume adjustment. Connectivity options include a compact 6-pin Mini Female XLR (TA6F) headset connector and a USB-C port for charging and pairing. The device is compatible with the Pliant PBT-LIP-01 Lithium Polymer CrewCom Battery, ensuring long-lasting performance.
