Pliant Technologies recently unveiled its latest product, the PHS-IEHU, a compact in-ear headset. This innovative headset is designed to be adaptable for use in either the left or right ear, thanks to the inclusion of silicone ear concha locks and earbuds.
For those seeking a more personalized fit, the headset is compatible with custom ear molds from Coda Room Audio and Sensaphonics, tailored to the unique shape of the user’s ear.
Features and Compatibility
The PHS-IEHU stands out for its discreet design, incorporating a miniature electret microphone and a windscreen attached to a small, flexible boom. It is versatile in connectivity, offering compatibility with the majority of standard intercom beltpacks through various connections such as 4-pin or 5-pin XLR, 6-pin female Mini XLR, and dual 3.5mm for MicroCom M or MicroCom XR models. An optional Push-to-Talk (PTT) button is also available for those requiring external, momentary talk on/off functionality.
New Accessory Launches
Alongside the PHS-IEHU, Pliant Technologies announced the release of two accessories aimed at enhancing the functionality of its CrewCom Radio Transceiver (RT) lineup. The PAC-RTM-SMU, a Universal Single RT Mounting Bracket, and the PBT-VMNT, a Radio Transceiver Battery Adapter, are the latest additions designed to support long-distance and long-term power needs for users.
These new offerings from Pliant Technologies highlight the company’s commitment to innovation and versatility in communication technologies.
