Enhanced Backup and Recovery Capabilities

Quantum’s DXi backup appliances have been known for providing straightforward, scalable data protection and disaster recovery solutions. The new DXi T-Series is the industry’s first all-flash target backup appliance tailored for edge deployments, SMBs, and crucial data storage infrastructures. These appliances help organizations proactively defend against and recover from cyberattacks.

Performance and Efficiency

The DXi T-Series offers remarkable performance, with data ingestion rates reaching up to 113 terabytes per hour. This is significantly faster than traditional hard disk-based solutions, offering up to 65 times faster backup speeds and 13 times quicker restore times. The improved performance allows for more frequent backups, enhanced recovery objectives, regular validation of backup integrity, and quicker recovery times in the event of a cyberattack. The appliances also facilitate faster data rehydration, which is critical for various workflows such as analytics, application development, e-discovery, compliance, and long-term archiving.

Capacity and Integration

Available in sizes ranging from 15 to 120 usable terabytes within a compact 1U form factor, the DXi T-Series utilizes Quantum’s patented data reduction technology for highly efficient flash utilization. Equipped with integrated features like replication, cloud tiering, and data immutability, and supported by a comprehensive software ecosystem including Veeam, Veritas, and Commvault, these appliances ensure seamless data protection across multiple locations.
