Radio Jovem Pan Chapecó, a prominent broadcaster in its Brazilian region, is recognized for its diverse programming.
The station is accessible through 94.1FM and major streaming platforms globally. From its inception, the station’s leadership aimed to incorporate AEQ technology as the centerpiece of its content production infrastructure. This goal was realized with the integration of the AEQ CAPITOL IP digital mixer, which processes all audio signals produced by the station.
Features of AEQ CAPITOL IP
The AEQ CAPITOL IP is a digital audio mixing console that comes with a fixed configuration of 8 channels. It stands out for its IP connectivity, facilitated by a built-in module that supports 16 input and 16 output channels. The console is distinguished by its extensive input capabilities, which include 4 microphone/line, 12 analog, 4 digital stereo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digital stereo USB, and 2 optional telephone lines. Additionally, it offers optional digital multichannel audio links, providing 16 AoIP channels via two ethernet connectors or 64 MADI channels through optical fiber.
Project Leadership and Collaboration
The implementation of this technology at Radio Jovem Pan Chapecó was overseen by Mr. Felipe Viera, the engineering manager at Grupo ND. The project was executed in close collaboration with AEQ’s local partner in Brazil, LineUP, which provided technical services. This partnership underscored the station’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance its content production and distribution capabilities.
