Reidel Communications has acquired IP specialist SDNsquare, whose technology has been used at the Tokyo Games, Roland Garros, and European Athletics Munich.
According to Riedel, the acquisition expands its “competence team” in the area of real-time IP network orchestration and SDN (Software Defined Networks) control. SDNsquare provides Software Defined Network solutions for complex and demanding IP-based media installations.
Financial details of the acquisition have not been revealed.
