Riedel Joins With Racing Electronics for U.S. Motorsport

Riedel Communications announced a strategic partnership with Racing Electronics, a U.S. motorsport communication equipment provider.

The collaboration aims to strengthen communication systems used by race operations, teams, drivers, and spectators.

Technology and Expertise Integration

The partnership brings together Riedel’s intercom technologies, such as the Artist-1024 platform and the Bolero wireless system, with Racing Electronics’ long-standing experience in radio communications and U.S.-specific motorsport accessories. Racing Electronics has been active at racing events across North America for decades, supporting teams, drivers, and fans.

New Motorsport Competence Centers

Riedel will establish North America Motorsport Competence Centers within Racing Electronics’ locations. Staff and equipment resources will support U.S. and international racing events. The collaboration combines Riedel’s technologies—refined in major series including Formula 1—with Racing Electronics’ customer service and product portfolio.

Enhanced Communication and Support Services

The integration of Riedel’s signal distribution and intercom systems with Racing Electronics’ market expertise will provide more reliable and clear communication for all motorsport levels. The partnership also delivers support services such as turnkey communication packages, trackside rentals, custom ear molds, and helmet kits.

Sustainability and Remote Operations

Both companies are committed to reducing environmental impact. A Motorsport Remote Operations Centre will be created in Concord, North Carolina, enabling remote workflows that decrease the carbon footprint of combined activities.

Statements From Leadership

“We are excited to join forces with Racing Electronics to bring our innovative communication solutions to the U.S. motorsport market,” said Lutz Rathmann, CEO Managed Technology of Riedel Communications.
