Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader in broadcast technology, is set to attend NAB Show New York 2024.

The company will present its latest solutions, including the Remote Transmitter Monitoring Service (RMTX) and the R&S®TE1 extra-high-power liquid-cooled transmitter.

R&S TE1: A New Energy-Efficient Transmitter

The R&S TE1 is a new digital transmitter designed to address issues like high energy consumption and the maintenance demands of traditional transmitters. With a focus on sustainability, the R&S TE1 provides at least 15% more efficiency than current designs, thanks to its advanced liquid cooling system that reduces reliance on air conditioning, cutting down on energy use and lowering environmental impact.

Native ATSC 3.0 Design for Future Broadcast Applications

The R&S TE1 is built with native ATSC 3.0 support, allowing broadcasters to explore new opportunities and improve operational efficiency. This transmitter is specifically aimed at the North American market and focuses on offering solutions for current and future broadcasting challenges.

Remote Transmitter Monitoring Service (RMTX)

In addition to the R&S TE1, Rohde & Schwarz will introduce the Remote Transmitter Monitoring Service (RMTX), which helps broadcasters manage the shortage of RF engineers in the United States. The R&S TE1’s intelligent management software automates setup and monitors its performance, providing alerts when maintenance is needed.
