This summer, RTVE has extensively covered major sports events, including the Men’s European Football Championship 2024 in Germany.
A total of 51 matches were broadcasted across its channels: La 1, La 2, Teledeporte, and RTVE Play.
Paris 2024 Games Broadcast
Currently, RTVE is broadcasting the Paris 2024 games. La 1, La 2, and Teledeporte are offering viewers 400 hours of content from Paris and other venues, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the competitions.
Technical Coordination with AEQ XPEAK IF Interfaces
For these large projects, RTVE utilized AEQ XPEAK IF interfaces for technical coordination. These interfaces link the Intercom systems previously installed at the Trocadero SET, IBC, and corresponding sites in Spain. The Xpeak_IF interface connects the Xpeak intercom system to 4 external audios in analogue, USB digital, or IP Dante/AES67 formats. It also includes 4 GPI and 4 GPO.
Features of AEQ XPEAK Intercom System
AEQ XPEAK is an intercom system that uses virtual network technology, with a wizard for automatic global interconnection. It connects different hardware or software user panels as if they are in the same physical production center, whether on the same LAN or in different locations with Internet access. No static IP, dynamic DNS, or port forwarding is required. AEQ XPEAK includes physical rack and desktop panels, as well as wired and wireless fobs.

The use of IP technology in this project allows for versatile operation, with real-time changes to adapt to the dynamic production required for live broadcasting of competitions.
