A new XEEN CF 135mm T2.2 lens designed for PL, Canon EF and Sony E mount full-frame cameras has been introduced by Samyang.
Samyang has updated its line-up of XEEN Cine lenses with the introduction of the Samyang XEEN CF 135mm T2.2 which takes the total number of XEEN CF lenses to 6.
The Samyang XEEN CF 135mm T2.2 joins the 6mm T2.6, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5 and 85mm T1.5 with an RRP of £1716 (plus VAT) and will be distributed exclusively by Holdan in the UK and Ireland.

The Samyang XEEN CF 135mm T2.2 is constructed from lightweight carbon fibre and features Samyang’s proprietary X-Coating technology which controls the reflection of light inside the lens itself to create a distinctive look, properly utilising flares and ghosting to create dramatic effects. Samyang says the lens also has ‘outstanding resolution’ capable of supporting a large image sensor up to 8K and offers beautiful bokeh with a bright T/2.2 aperture.
The front aperture (95mm), focus and aperture ring gear positions are unified, making it easy to attach and detach lens accessories such as matte box and follow-focus. In addition, the ultra-bright luminous font is convenient for use in dark environments.
