The Gulf & MENA Decision-Makers Forum | Sport, Broadcast, AI & Monetization will take place on June 3, 2026, at 11:30 AM in Dubai, UAE.

Forum Format and Key Topics

The forum will be a closed, invitation-only gathering. It will bring together senior executives and key decision-makers from the sports, broadcast, and media technology sectors across the Gulf and MENA region.

The program is structured around three closed-door roundtables, each dedicated to a core strategic topic:

Participant Profile:

Sarkis Semaan is a senior media executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience. His background covers broadcast operations, technology, infrastructure, and transformation across the Middle East, GCC, Levant, and Africa. He has served in senior operations and technology roles. He has also carried full P&L responsibility across multi-channel broadcasters, production operations, and nationwide transmission environments.

His experience includes the modernization of broadcast and transmission infrastructure, including DVB-T and DVB-T2 environments. Sarkis has also led projects focused on optimizing end-to-end broadcast, production, and distribution workflows. His work further includes cost rationalization, vendor restructuring, and operating-model redesign. He also led the launch of an encrypted bouquet that included new channels and cross-border operational setups based on the IP rights of a major league.

Semaan is known for a hands-on and execution-driven leadership style. His approach combines technical expertise, commercial discipline, and board-level stakeholder management. He has particular experience working in government and semi-government environments where political sensitivity, continuity of service, and financial sustainability must be balanced.

In parallel with his executive work, he advises media organizations and public authorities on operating-model design, infrastructure strategy, and transformation roadmaps.

Sarkis is fluent in English and Arabic and has working knowledge of French.
