Aputure has announced the Sidus Four, a new CRMX transmitter designed to bring wireless DMX capabilities to film sets.
The Sidus Four is positioned as the most advanced and versatile CRMX transmitter currently available, offering extensive features for professional lighting control.

The Sidus Four provides a range of features aimed at enhancing lighting control for filmmakers:
Eight Universes Transmission: The Sidus Four supports up to eight DMX universes, with four wireless CRMX universes and four wired DMX universes.
Connectivity Options: It includes four bidirectional wired DMX512 ports and supports CRMX, Sidus, Art-Net, and sACN protocols.
Built-In Networking: The device comes with a built-in wireless router and Ethernet node, operating at 5.8 GHz over Wi-Fi and 2.4 GHz over CRMX. It also supports Sidus via Bluetooth.
Extensive Wireless Range: The wireless range extends over 2600 feet using Wi-Fi or CRMX.
Power Options: It is equipped with a V-mount battery plate and an internal backup battery for continuous operation.
Outdoor Use: The device is IP65 weather-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor applications.

Versatile Networking Capabilities
The Sidus Four serves as an all-in-one networking device, enabling interference-free control of up to eight CRMX/DMX lighting universes. Designed to work seamlessly with the Sidus Link app, it offers flexibility for various production needs.
The device builds on previous Aputure products, including the entry-level Sidus One CRMX transmitter and the Sidus Link Pro app, which introduced wireless DMX control via mobile devices. The combination of Sidus Four and Sidus Link Pro allows filmmakers to access console-level programming features through a mobile app.
