Skyline Communications, a leading provider of end-to-end digital transformation solutions for the ICT media and broadband industry, has announced a new agreement with TelevisaUnivision.
This partnership aims to provide comprehensive service-based monitoring and control for TelevisaUnivision’s new IP-based distribution system, designed to replace their conventional C-Band infrastructure. This move aligns with TelevisaUnivision’s digital transformation strategy and vision, aiming for a more unified, data-centric operation.
DataMiner System Implementation
Skyline’s DataMiner System will be at the core of this transformation. The system will monitor and control the cloud-based compression and encryption infrastructure, manage extensive third-party IP distribution including SRT international distribution, and handle IRD automated authorization according to program access rules. Additionally, DataMiner will monitor remote stations’ decoders. This system provides an end-to-end view and secure control for each service, enabling operators to evaluate and isolate system issues more efficiently.
