The SmallRig Cage Kit for the FUJIFILM GFX100S II is a cost-effective solution designed to safeguard the newly released FUJIFILM GFX100S II medium format mirrorless hybrid camera.
The kit is engineered to protect the camera while enabling the attachment of various accessories. It includes a cage and an HDMI & USB-C cable clamp. The cage secures the camera with a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom and dual M2.5 screws on the sides, with integrated pads to prevent scratches.
Accessibility and Mounting Options
The cage allows unobstructed access to all camera interfaces, card slots, the flip screen, and the battery compartment. It offers multiple mounting options, such as 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 3/8″-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes, a NATO rail, a cold shoe mount, a QD mount, wrist/shoulder strap holes, and more.
Compatibility
The SmallRig Cage Kit is compatible with various accessories, including side handles (ID 2093C/4016/3847), a top handle (ID 3765), monitor mounts (ID 2903/2904), a mini V-mount battery plate (ID 2987), a single rod clamp (ID 3598), a magic arm (ID 3873), a microphone (ID 3468), and an LED video light (ID 4055). The integrated cold shoe mount supports attaching SSD holders (ID 2343/3272) for versatile storage options. The cage also features a wrist strap hole compatible with a hand strap (ID 3848) and neck strap (ID 3485), along with QD mounts compatible with a shoulder strap (ID 4118).
Quick Release and Cable Clamp
An Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom facilitates easy transitions between Arca-type tripods, DJI RS 2/RSC 2/RS 3/RS 3 Pro gimbals, and handheld shooting. The HDMI & USB-C cable clamp, which features a thumbscrew attachment, ensures stable signal transmission to prevent accidental disruptions. For convenience, a magnetic dual-head flat wrench is integrated at the bottom of the cage.
