SMPTE has announced the start of early registration for the 2024 Media Technology Summit.
This annual conference will be held from October 21-24 at the Ovation Hollywood in Hollywood, California. The event is designed to bring together industry leaders from around the world to share research, address industry challenges, and provide networking opportunities.

The 2024 Media Technology Summit is expected to be a significant event in the media technology sector. Marc Zorn, SMPTE Hollywood Chair and Conference Co-Chair, stated that this year’s summit aims to surpass previous years in scale and impact. Early bird pricing for the summit is available from June 10 to July 31. After this period, regular pricing will apply. The summit will also feature a Solutions Hub and new additions such as the Tech Trek.
Tech Trek and Off-Site Experiences
The Tech Trek is a new feature offering guided, interactive exhibit tours that showcase technologies discussed in the sessions. Additionally, off-site experiences are scheduled for October 24 for those interested in participating.
