Lightbridge and DoPchoice: New Tools for Portrait Lighting

The original Snapbridge includes a Lightbridge Precision Reflector encased in a custom-designed 5’/1.5m circular DoPchoice Snapbox® SLIM. This setup provides imagemakers with a versatile and controllable addition to their lighting toolkit.

Introducing the Compact 3ft/90cm Snapbox® SLIM

Snapbridge now introduces a compact 3ft/90cm Snapbox® SLIM, optimized for 15cm and 25cm Precision Reflectors. Despite its smaller footprint, it delivers a significant impact on lighting. Both the original 5-foot and new 3-foot versions feature reversible Soft and Dark surfaces. The white side, or Soft Mode, creates gentle, bounced fill light around a Precision Reflector. In contrast, the Dark Mode offers negative fill, reduces spill light, and can return a special glow when used as a bounce source, ideal for creating a dark mood.

New Bluff Bounce Attachments

To achieve nuanced light mimicking ambient reflections, Snapbridge adds Bluff Bounce certified color bounces. These butterfly attachments mount directly to the Snapbox® using hook and loop fasteners. The selection includes Unbleached Muslin for enhancing skin tones, Day Blue for a cool blue skylight effect, and a 50/50 Unbleached Muslin and Day Blue mix to imitate natural color blends found in environments like a sky and building wall.

Compatibility with Lightbridge Precision Reflectors

Snapbridge tools are designed to complement Lightbridge’s Precision Reflectors, available in sizes 50 x 50cm, 25 x 25cm, and 15 x 15cm. The line features industry-standard 16mm baby pin mounts for easy integration into a standard grip kit.
