This expansion allows creative teams to effortlessly stream content using AWS workstations through an Amazon Machine Image (AMI), offering the convenience of virtual machine operations. The move aims to provide the same high-quality performance and security that Sohonet’s ClearView Flex is known for.
Jon Walkenhorst, the Chief Product Officer at Sohonet, stated that this new offering on AWS enhances the flexibility for their clientele, allowing them to manage their workflows more effectively. According to Walkenhorst, the company prioritizes providing powerful, versatile tools to its users, ensuring that those who migrate to AWS can expect the renowned performance and security standards of ClearView Flex in a cloud-based format.

Jeff Drury, the Director of Technology at Carbon/Whitehouse Post, shared his positive feedback on the integration. He highlighted the benefits of using ClearView Flex on AWS, noting its low latency, high-quality image production, and user-friendly interface, which facilitates efficient cloud-based real-time collaboration across creative studios.
