By connecting with a simple cable, users can import photos and videos, which are then automatically transferred to a designated FTP server or Sony’s cloud service. The PDT-FP1 also facilitates direct streaming to platforms like YouTube.
Display and Application Support
The PDT-FP1 boasts a 6.1-inch display. Users can also leverage Sony applications such as Transfer & Tagging and the Creators’ App, including a specialized version for Enterprise, to monitor transfer status even during active shooting.

This device includes a range of connectivity options like a LAN terminal, USB Type-C, and a full-sized HDMI port. It can connect to a Sony camera for data transfer and live streaming, with the USB Type-C also serving as a charging port. The HDMI input supports various resolutions and frame rates, accommodating diverse video formats.
Mounting and Physical Specifications
The PDT-FP1 can be attached to a camera using its 1/4-20″ receptor. It weighs 308g and has dimensions of 170mm x 80mm x 26.6mm. The device operates on an Android OS and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform.
Storage and Cooling System
For storage, the device accepts microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC cards up to 1TB.
