Stuart Watson, MarCam: We are seeing a trend towards NDI

TFT1957 Interviews Stuart Watson, Sales Manager, MarCam, at IBC2024

TFT1957 Interviews Stuart Watson, Sales Manager, MarCam, at IBC2024.

– What new products is your company showcasing at IBC2024?

A brief introduction about MarCam: we are a master distributor for Marshall throughout Europe. The main solution we’re highlighting here is our auto-tracking camera. We’ve used the well-known CV605 camera. It’s an excellent product at a great price point, offering crystal-clear images, but we’ve enhanced it by adding a tracking system. Additionally, we upgraded the zoom from 5x to 12x zoom.

– What do you think about the future trends of the broadcast cinema industry?

At the moment, the trend we see is a shift towards NDI. In our PTZ range, customers are either looking for extremely high-quality PTZ cameras or more affordable options, with the middle-tier models becoming less relevant to this segment of the industry.

– Thank you for the interview!
