The Model 362A stands out for its exceptional connectivity via Ethernet, configuration flexibility, and a robust yet compact design suitable for both studio and field use. It requires only a Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection and headphones or an earpiece to set up a complete broadcast or audio monitoring station. The unit accommodates a broad spectrum of audio devices, including stereo headphones and various broadcast headsets, through its ¼-inch and 3.5 mm headphone jacks.

Integration and Compatibility
Designed for individual use, the Model 362A seamlessly integrates into larger production workflows, allowing multiple units to be used simultaneously. It is also compatible with other Dante-enabled devices from Studio Technologies, including a range of broadcast-oriented units. The device’s compatibility extends to products from various manufacturers, thanks to Dante’s universal compatibility.

User Interface and Design
The Model 362A is user-friendly, featuring two push-in/push-out rotary controls for audio level adjustment on the 2-channel headphone output. Its operational status is easily monitored through four LEDs. Constructed with an aluminum alloy, the unit is both durable and lightweight. A stainless steel belt clip on the rear of the unit enables easy attachment to clothing.

Configuration and Software
Operational parameters such as input channel assignment, level control, and headphone output levels are configured using the STcontroller software. This software, provided free by Studio Technologies, facilitates quick and easy customization of the unit’s features. STcontroller is available for both WinOS® and macOS® operating systems.
