Studiomaster Announces New Loudspeaker System

Studiomaster has announced the debut of the new INSTACUBE 4/INSTASUB 8 very compact loudspeaker system that’s designed for a range of commercial applications.

The INSTACUBE 4 is housed in an aluminium enclosure that measures 145 x 156 x 143 mm (5.7 x 6.1 x 5.6 in) and comes with a removable mounting U-bracket. The coaxial transducer incorporates a custom-designed 4-inch neodymium transducer comprised of a 35 mm voice coil cone driver and 1.3-inch PEEK composite film diaphragm driver arrangement. Stated power handling is stated as 100 watts RMS and 400 watts peak with 87 dB continuous SPL and a 100 Hz – 20 kHz (-10 dB) frequency response.

The slim INSTASUB 8 bass-reflex subwoofer is ceiling, wall and floor mountable, and can be positioned under furniture. Measuring just 515 mm x 200 mm x 425 mm (20.3 x 7.9 x 16.7 in), it utilizes a custom-designed 8-inch cone driver with a 38 mm, high-temperature resistant voice coil. The long-stroke driver also includes a unique aluminum modulation ring designed to reduce magnetic distortion.
