Supponor AIR: Record Deployment Figures for 2023-24 Season

Supponor has reported impressive deployment statistics for its AI-based virtual advertising platform, Supponor AIR, during the 2023-24 sports season.

Supponor AIR was utilized in over 10,000 feeds at nearly 3,000 live events across 200 stadiums and arenas worldwide. The platform covered various sports, including football, hockey, and motorsport.

Winter Sports Expansion

Supponor expanded into winter sports, deploying its virtual advertising solution at the Ski World Cup finals. The company also continued its partnership with the NHL, using its Digitally Enhanced Dasherboard (DED) technology at over 1,300 matches in 37 venues, enabling over 6,200 feeds. Partnerships with the IIHF and 3ICE saw the technology used in over 70 matches.

Growth in Football

The adoption of Supponor AIR in football leagues such as LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Liga MX, and the A-League continued to grow. Additionally, the platform was used in around 40 national federation matches and several international competitions, including the AFC Asia Cup ’23 and the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Collaborations and Partnerships

Supponor’s growth was supported by collaborations with partners such as TGI Sport, NHL, GRUP MEDIAPRO, Infront, SPORTFIVE, Interregional Sports Group, Dome Productions, Brax Sports Assets, Publicidad Virtual, Sporteo, and Australasian Media Co (AMC).
