Ushio Inc., along with its subsidiary Christie®, has named Takabumi Asahi as the new Chief Executive Officer for Christie Digital Systems USA, Inc.
Asahi is set to take over from Koji Naito, stepping into the leadership role to guide the company into its next chapter.
Asahi’s Background and Experience
Before his new appointment, Takabumi Asahi served as Managing Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Ushio. Since joining the company in 2017 as Deputy General Manager, Asahi has progressively taken on more significant responsibilities. His career prior to Ushio was with Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd., a leading provider of information and communication technology and services in Japan. There, he gained extensive experience in managing global business operations across various sectors, including semiconductors, information and telecommunication technology, and office automation. Asahi is an alumnus of Chiba University in Japan, where he earned his engineering degree.
