TASCAM announces that Sonicview Digital Recording and Mixing Consoles are fully compatible with the Mixing Station app.
This integration provides remote control capabilities, enhancing functionality in live sound, houses of worship, and other demanding environments.
Wireless Monitor Mix Control
Performers and engineers can wirelessly control monitor mixes using smartphones or tablets. The hands-on control enables faster sound checks, improved efficiency during performances, and a streamlined experience for everyone on stage or at the console.
Ember+ Protocol and Scalable Control
Using the Ember+ protocol in Sonicview firmware V2.2, consoles support multiple simultaneous Mixing Station instances. Users can adjust levels, EQ, aux sends, and more from their own devices. Setup requires only a network connection to the console, with no additional hardware needed.
Enhanced Workflow and User Experience
Sean Daily, Product Specialist at TASCAM, states that Mixing Station support responds to user demand for individual monitor mix control, improving both workflow and overall user experience.
