Telescript International, a global provider of teleprompting hardware with more than 60 years of industry experience, has completed the acquisition of all software code and intellectual property previously owned by Telescript West.
The acquisition consolidates the long-standing Telescript International and Telescript West ecosystem under a single brand.
Unified Hardware and Software Platform
For many years, Telescript hardware and Telescript West software have been used together across broadcast, corporate, and production environments. The acquisition formalizes this long-established relationship and places development, ownership, and support for the entire prompting workflow under unified control.
Ownership of Prompting Software Code
As part of the transaction, Telescript International now holds full ownership of all prompting software code originally developed by Telescript West. Hardware and software development are now aligned within a single organization, enabling coordinated product planning and updates.
Product Development and Roadmap Alignment
With software development now internal, Telescript International plans expanded development of next-generation prompting tools, closer device integration, and more frequent software updates across its product portfolio.
Customer Continuity and Support
The transition does not affect existing users. Current software customers will continue to receive full support through Telescript, with no required changes to licensing or functionality. All future software development will continue under the Telescript International brand.
