Telos Alliance has launched its new VoIP broadcast phone system, the Telos VX Duo.
For over a decade, broadcasters have trusted Telos VX VoIP phone systems for bringing phone calls into their facilities with top-notch audio quality.
Affordable High-Quality Audio
The VX Duo is the latest addition to the Telos VX product line, offering the same user experience and audio quality as the VX Enterprise system, but at a more affordable price. This makes VoIP technology accessible to broadcasters with modest budgets.
Enhanced Reliability and Quality
Robbie Green, Telos Alliance Product Manager, highlighted the cost savings and improved reliability that VX Duo offers over traditional analog solutions. The system aims to help broadcasters save on costs associated with legacy copper phone lines while providing superior call audio quality.
Compact and Studio-Friendly Design
The VX Duo is designed for in-studio use, featuring a compact and silent platform that can be placed on any studio or control room surface. Up to three units can fit side-by-side on a single rack-mount shelf.
Seamless Integration with AoIP Networks
Studios equipped with Livewire+ AES67 can send and receive audio over the AoIP network via one of VX Duo’s Ethernet ports, while the other port connects to VoIP services. The system integrates with Telos VSet phones, console call controllers, VX-compatible call screening software, and the Axia Pathfinder Core Pro Broadcast Controller for building HTML5-based control panels.
Scalable and Flexible
The VX Duo comes with two channels/hybrids and can be expanded to eight channels/hybrids in two-channel increments through expansion licenses. This makes it suitable for use in a single studio or split between two studios, such as an AM/FM combo or a control room and production studio.
Easy Configuration
Configuring the VX Duo to work with high-quality cloud VoIP providers is simple and straightforward, even for users with limited VoIP experience.
Availability
The VX Duo is available for order immediately through Telos channel partners worldwide, with deliveries expected in October 2024.
