Founder’s Reflection

Aaron Xia, Telycam’s CEO and co-founder, recalled the inception of the company. “The idea for Telycam began at InfoComm 2012, where I was impressed by the potential of innovative communication solutions. We were using iPhone 4s, and video conferencing relied on bulky hardware. The concept of cloud-based video conferencing was revolutionary and motivated us to redefine communication possibilities,” said Xia.

Showcasing Innovations

Telycam will present its innovative products at InfoComm 2024 from June 12 to 14 in booth C9176, alongside staff from their U.S. and Canada distributor MVD. The event will feature the North American debut of Telycam’s flagship PTZ camera, Explore. This camera includes a 1-inch Sony sensor, AI fast focus, and 20x optical zoom to deliver 4K60 video. It offers connectivity options such as 12G-SDI, NDI®, NDI HX3, HDMI 2.0, and SFP+, along with genlock functionality. Explore also supports advanced features like FreeD for AR/VR production and built-in Auto-Tracking.

New Product Highlights

Telycam will also showcase its new SONO AI-enhanced wireless speakerphone. Designed for portability and reliability, SONO features eight embedded microphones and AI algorithms for noise and echo reduction, ensuring clear sound quality. Its long-lasting battery supports uninterrupted conversations, and multiple units can be linked via Bluetooth for use in larger spaces.

Product Line Overview

In addition to new products, Telycam will display its extensive product lines, including video conferencing solutions, entry-level FHD PTZ cameras, ProAV-level UHD PTZ solutions, and advanced broadcast-level PTZ cameras. The Meet+ line offers plug & play webcams, ePTZs, and PTZ cameras in USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 configurations. Drive+ entry-level PTZ cameras feature NDI HX technology for easy network integration. Vision+ PTZ cameras for 4K ProAV applications include FreeD technology for AR/VR content creation and Auto-Tracking. The Explore family, including the new Explore SE, provides high-end capabilities at enterprise-level pricing.

Industry Collaboration

Telycam will highlight its recent certification by Brainstorm for integrating Telycam PTZ cameras with Brainstorm AR/VR solutions. Live demonstrations will show the Explore SE delivering video and tracking data to Brainstorm’s InfinitySet virtual production solution, managed by Telycam’s V Joy+ joystick controller. This collaboration emphasizes Telycam’s dedication to enhancing its products with advanced features for video production, including AR and VR applications.
