Interview with Tim Godby, Product Marketing Manager at Bolin Technology, at ISE 2024.
Hi, this is Tim at Bolin Technology. We’re here at ISE 2024, and I’m excited to share that we specialize in manufacturing high-end and budget-friendly PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras.
TKT1957: What are the main directions of development most characteristic in your segment of the industry?
Tim: Our core competency lies in creating cameras suited for broadcast, sporting events, both indoor and outdoor live performances, education, and video conferencing. Some of our models feature USB-C output, while all of them support IP streaming, and some include SDI connectivity. We’re a comprehensive manufacturer of PTZ camera brands. Additionally, we offer Dante AV solutions, including Dante AV Ultra and Dante AV-H.
TKT1957: What new products is your company showcasing at ISE 2024?
Tim: Behind me is a large screen displaying one of our newest products, a Dante AV-H EG40DH decoder hardware, next to our Dante AV camera. We also have Dante AV Ultra native cameras and the world’s only Dante AV-Ultra.
TKT1957: Are there any developments in integrating AI into your solutions?
Tim: Bolin is primarily known as a PTZ camera brand, but we’ve also made significant strides in the Pro Audio Video space. Some of these cameras incorporate artificial intelligence for face detection—not for recognition, but to ensure proper exposure. Moreover, our AI-driven auto exposure can differentiate between a brightly lit projection screen and a window, focusing accordingly.
Lastly, I’d like to highlight our outdoor PTZ cameras, including the EX Ultra, which is to my left and right behind me. We offer two models of this IP67-rated camera, designed to withstand extreme weather conditions. Bolin Technology offers PTZ cameras for any budget and scenario. It was great to meet you. Thank you.
