Interview with Tim Walker, Senior Product Manager at AJA Video Systems at ISE 2024.
My name is Tim Walker, a senior product manager at AJA Video Systems. We’re here at ISE 2024, showing off our kit. We’ve got a lot of things on display: mini converters, our openGear product line, we have our desktop I/O and mobile I/O.
Brand new is the Kona X Card, which we’re also showing here.
We’ve got frame synchronizers, HDR image analyzers, and behind me, we have our new Dante 4K audio-video converters.
These are Dante AV; they support Dante AV, which has a JPEG 2000 visually lossless codec. One of the nice things about them is that they are able to maintain synchronized video and audio, unlike some other IP-type products out there, and they’re very easy to use. They work with Dante Controller, so you plug them into the network, and they’re immediately discoverable by Dante Controller.
