Fremantle: Trey Durst Promoted to VP of U.S. Distribution

Trey Durst has been promoted to Vice President of U.S. Distribution for Fremantle’s International division.

Durst joined Fremantle in 2022 as a Director within the division, where he has been instrumental in negotiating the distribution and monetization of FAST channels and AVOD libraries within the U.S. His efforts have focused on optimizing revenue across Fremantle’s extensive content library.

In his new position, Durst will continue to report to Lisa Honig, Senior Executive Vice President of North American Distribution, International at Fremantle. Honig’s team is responsible for maximizing revenue across all distribution channels for Fremantle’s vast content portfolio.

Key Contributions and Partnerships

During his tenure, Durst has strengthened Fremantle’s relationships with major streaming platforms. He recently led a partnership with Fubo, resulting in several Fremantle FAST channels, such as Family Feud Classic, Baywatch, The Jamie Oliver Channel, and the newly launched RIG TV, being available on the platform. RIG TV, showcasing the toughest jobs on earth, is also set to premiere on Sling Freestream and Plex, along with BUZZR, a retro game show channel.

Additionally, Durst expanded Fremantle’s channel offerings on Google TV and announced the forthcoming launch of the lifestyle channel Places & Spaces.
