Vizrt has made two of its cloud-ready video production switchers, TriCaster Vectar and TriCaster Now, available in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace.

AWS Marketplace is a digital platform for software management, offering streamlined access to Vizrt products for video content creators. The integration allows for easier testing, purchasing, and management of these video production systems directly within AWS accounts.

Key Features and Advantages

TriCaster Vectar, designed for larger productions such as news and sports, supports up to 44 external sources and can be tested as a fully functional watermarked version. Customers only need to manage their AWS usage costs. TriCaster Now, on the other hand, is intended for smaller-scale productions, offering support for up to 8 inputs. This system uses a fully managed software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, allowing customers to pay based on usage with a simple credit-based pricing structure.

Cloud Accessibility and Remote Production Benefits

With the availability of these systems in AWS Marketplace, content creators can benefit from centralized access, testing, and billing through their AWS accounts. This move supports the growing trend of cloud-based live productions, offering cost-effective and sustainable solutions.

Certification and Competency Achievements

Vizrt has also qualified as an AWS Media & Entertainment Competency partner, which verifies their expertise in live production and media asset management. This certification adds to their AWS ISV Accelerate accreditation, ensuring that Vizrt solutions meet AWS standards for cloud-based video production.
