TVU Networks has introduced a new product, TVU MediaHub™. This cloud-based platform is designed to improve the handling of video signals in both IP and SDI formats. It differs from traditional broadcast routers that rely on physical hardware.
Features of TVU MediaHub™
The platform can manage an unlimited number of video signals in both SDI and IP formats.
It employs a mix of cloud-based and local processing.
TVU MediaHub™ can handle a variety of input formats like SDI, NDI, SRT, TVU Grid, and YouTube, and can output in formats including RTMP, HLS, TVU Grid, and Facebook.
The system can be expanded as needed, using either local resources or additional resources provided by TVU.
It has a user-friendly interface that doesn’t require specialized training.
The pricing model is based on usage, with a monthly charge for managed resources and a per-minute charge during signal routing.
CEO’s Statement
Paul Shen, CEO of TVU Networks, mentioned that TVU MediaHub™ was developed in response to the increasing complexity of managing a large number of decoders and encoders due to the growth of IP-based broadcasting. The platform aims to simplify this process.
Integration into TVU Networks’ Broadcasting Ecosystem
TVU MediaHub™ is part of TVU Networks’ broader broadcasting ecosystem, which includes AI-powered content processing, advanced graphics capabilities, and tools for live production and advertisement management. This system is designed to address various challenges in the media supply chain.
