Ulanzi has introduced a new lineup of V-Mount video lights: the 120W Bi-color (VL-120Bi), the RGB version (VL-120C), and the 200W Bi-color (VL-V200Bi).
These lights come with dual power options and adjustable CCT and HS, making them portable, versatile, and suitable for various shooting environments.
Ulanzi, a Chinese company known for its video gear and accessories like tripods and lighting fixtures, has expanded its product range with these new lights. Recently, Ulanzi released the 52mm MagFilter magnetic filter kit, and now they are offering these three new lights for video creators: two bi-color lights (120W and 200W) and one RGB light (120W). All units can be powered by electric output and batteries, making them ideal for studio use, location shoots, outdoor filming, and quick setups for events like weddings.
Features of the VL-120Bi and VL-120C
The Ulanzi 120W Bi-color (VL-120Bi) and RGB (VL-120C) lights are equipped with high-efficiency COB lamp heads that provide uniform light distribution. Both models offer dual power options, allowing them to be powered with V-mount batteries or a DC power adapter. With a CRI of over 95, the color temperature can be continuously adjusted from 2700K to 6500K, and brightness can be adjusted from 0% to 100%. The HSI mode provides control over hue, saturation, and intensity across the full-color spectrum.
The Ulanzi Connect App enables users to control the fixtures from up to 30 meters away, adjusting CCT, dimming, FX, and light groups. The app includes 20 preset light effects for the RGB version and 6 for the Bi-color version. Both lights feature an LCD display, a stepless knob, a 360° rotating L-stand, and Bowens mount compatibility, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
The VL-V200Bi 200W
The V-Mount 200Bi 200W model shares all the features of the VL-120Bi but with a higher maximum output of 200W, making it slightly more expensive than the 120W model.
Price and Availability
The new Ulanzi 120W Bi-color (VL-120Bi) and RGB (VL-120C) V-Mount video lights are available on the Ulanzi website in various combinations, with prices ranging from $89.95 for the basic bi-color version to $499.85 for the RGB light with two 26000mAh V-Mount batteries. An early bird sale is available until June 9, offering a $10 discount on a single VL-120Bi Light and a $40 discount on a single VL-120C Light. Additionally, there is a 5% discount when purchasing two or more units.
