Videosys Broadcast Participates in MCI’s Roadshow for Wireless Technology

As part of a five-city tour organized by Studio Hamburg MCI GmbH, Videosys Broadcast will present its Epsilon 4K base station Camera Control Unit (CCU) to German audiences.

The MCI Roadshow, starting on November 20th, has the objective of introducing German IT, AV, and broadcast specialists to the latest advancements in professional UHD wireless cameras and IP-based intercom systems.

One of the highlights of the event will be Videosys’ Epsilon system, designed to simplify the setup of wireless cameras and significantly reduce installation time. During the MCI Roadshow, Epsilon will be showcased alongside Clear-Com’s Eclipse HX digital matrix and Arcadia Central Station, a scalable intercom platform that connects through IP and supports over 100 wired and wireless user stations.

Epsilon is compatible with cameras from major manufacturers such as Sony, Panasonic, GVC, ARRI, Hitachi, and Ikegami. At the Roadshow, Videosys will present Epsilon paired with their AEON-CC compact digital COFDM video transmitter, which integrates camera control for high-quality wireless connections. The company will also demonstrate new features including Ethernet FX9 camera control and wireless transmitter control. These features allow the shader/painter to take control of the transmitter, freeing up the camera operator to focus on capturing the moment. Additionally, Videosys will highlight its new built-in transmitter for the Grass Valley LDX98 native single-speed camera, offering users a cleaner, cable-free, and more manageable wireless camera solution.

Colin Tomlins, Managing Director of VideoSys Broadcast, stated, “Through collaboration with MCI and Clear-Com, our goal is to showcase the numerous advantages of wireless connectivity and how this technology can enhance the efficiency and ease of camera operation. Epsilon, with its seamless wireless workflow and AEON web interface, delivers an exceptional user experience, enabling efficient wireless camera control and RF over fiber capabilities.”
