Videosys Broadcast, a renowned manufacturer and supplier in the realm of camera control systems, RF links, and camera backs, is gearing up to present its groundbreaking innovations in wireless and camera control technology at IBC 2023. These state-of-the-art products are tailored to optimize broadcast workflows and significantly cut down on rigging durations.

At IBC Videosys will introduce new RCP panels crafted specifically for Media Edge Slomo camera control. These panels, designed to elevate camera control standards, will seamlessly integrate into existing OB setups and offer compatibility with multiple protocols, catering to diverse camera manufacturers.

Another highlight from Videosys is the Epsilon 4K Camera Control solution. This flagship product offers an intuitive, comprehensive wireless workflow chain. Its brand-agnostic nature ensures swift and efficient matching of multiple camera configurations, requiring minimal intervention from operators and vision mixers. The AEON web interface further enhances the user experience, facilitating wireless camera control and RF over fiber functionalities.

In anticipation of future wireless camera control needs, Videosys has been diligently working on novel developments. These encompass the Sony FX9 Ethernet control, RXSME profile upload for streamlined camera management, and the integration of RXSME Ethernet with Panasonic/GV and TSL Tally 3.0. The AEON web interface and Black Magic control additions further expand the camera control options. Additionally, the transmitter control via an IDU base unit promises to enhance operational efficiency, especially during live events.

Colin Tomlin, Managing Director of VideoSys Broadcast, shared his excitement about the Camera Control Upgrade Kit, which will debut at IBC 2023. He stated, “This upgrade kit unlocks a plethora of future possibilities, granting broadcasters unparalleled control over their camera operations. By facilitating Ethernet control for both new and legacy camera manufacturers, we’re ushering in a new era of motion control, opening up endless creative possibilities.”
