Comica Audio Launches Vimo Q

Comica Audio introduces Vimo Q, a four-channel mini wireless microphone system, enhancing audio quality for various multimedia applications.

Comica Audio has expanded its professional audio equipment range with the launch of the Vimo Q, a new four-channel mini wireless microphone system. Designed to be lightweight and mobile, the Vimo Q is ideal for a range of applications including video shoots, vlogging, interviews, live streaming, podcasts, online meetings, and tutoring. The system comes complete with four transmitter microphone units (TX), a receiver unit (RX), a battery case for transport and recharging, and essential accessories.

The Vimo Q is tailored for multi-person synchronized recording, making it suitable for scenarios involving 1-4 people, such as video shooting, live streaming, and podcasting. The system’s clip-on transmitter microphones are not only compact and unobtrusive but also weigh a mere 16g, ensuring comfortable attachment to clothing without causing any disturbance or noise, even during movement. The entire system, including the receiver, weighs approximately 430g, with the charging and storage case alone being 330g, enhancing its portability.

Featuring Comica Audio’s new CalMix audio processing algorithm, the Vimo Q excels in isolating human voices and filtering out noise, even in challenging environments like streets or shopping malls. Its one-key denoise feature instantly improves voice recording clarity. The system’s high-fidelity audio quality is ensured by a 48kHz high sampling rate and a 24-bit depth, capturing high-frequency signals and providing a wider audio dynamic range for clear and detailed sound reproduction.

The receiver of Vimo Q boasts a clear HD-quality screen, displaying dynamic audio level bars, battery power, audio mode, and more. It offers the convenience of a 180° flip display for easy reading in any orientation. With both USB-C digital and 3.5mm analog outputs, the receiver ensures compatibility with a range of devices including cameras, smartphones, and computers. It also features a dedicated monitoring output for headphones, allowing users to monitor recording status and make timely adjustments. Additional functionalities include a mute function, adjustable microphone input volume, and mono and stereo modes to accommodate diverse recording scenarios and simplify editing.

Vimo Q transmitters are equipped with both a built-in microphone and an external mic input port, offering the flexibility to use an external Lavalier microphone for concealed transmitter placement. The microphones can be recharged via USB-C ports, even while in use, supporting uninterrupted long-duration recording.

The system’s charging case not only stores but also charges the microphones and receiver, enhancing convenience and usability. Each microphone transmitter offers a battery life of 8 hours, and with the charging case, the total battery life extends up to 16 hours. The Vimo Q boasts a latency of less than 20ms and a transmission distance of up to 200m in open areas, ensuring effective real-time sound transmission and long-range recording capabilities.

Priced at $249 USD, the Vimo Q is available in black or white on Amazon, marking it as an accessible and versatile solution for high-quality audio recording in various multimedia contexts.
