Vislink has appointed Mather Al-Ali as the new Vice President of Sales for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
With more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership across the MEA region, Al-Ali has a strong track record in driving revenue growth, profitability, and business transformation. His expertise spans key areas such as key account management, channel management, and regional strategy development in the defense, government, maritime, telecommunications, and broadcast sectors.
Leadership Experience in Defense and Public Safety Sectors
Mickey Miller, CEO of Vislink, highlighted that Al-Ali’s extensive experience in defense and security, alongside his sales strategy expertise, will contribute to Vislink’s growth in the MEA region. His role will focus on expanding Vislink’s presence and furthering the company’s defense and public safety solutions.
Career Background and Expertise
Al-Ali’s previous roles include senior sales positions at Halo Maritime Defense Systems, where he served as Regional Sales & Managing Director for the EMEA region. He has also worked at Wartsila Voyage, ST Engineering, and ETL Systems, leading business development and exceeding sales targets through strategic partnerships and team leadership.
Al-Ali previously worked with Vislink from 2008 to 2013 as the Regional Sales Director for the MEA region.
Educational Background and Technical Skills
Mather Al-Ali holds a B.Eng. Honors Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from the University of Surrey in the UK. He has completed certifications in digital transformation, agile leadership, and AI and cloud computing. Fluent in both English and Arabic, his technical knowledge and multilingual skills are expected to assist Vislink’s growth in diverse MEA markets.
