Vizrt Merges with NewTek to Strengthen Product Portfolio

Vizrt Merges

In response to a rapidly evolving market, Vizrt and NewTek combine forces, presenting a unified product range to their clientele.

Vizrt, renowned for its real-time graphics and live production tools, has now integrated with NewTek, creating an unmatched single-vendor product suite in content creation.

Post Vizrt’s acquisition of NewTek in 2019, both entities primarily catered to their individual broadcast and pro AV sectors, operating largely independently under the Vizrt Group banner. However, with the broadcast and pro AV domains merging and user needs shifting, a change was imminent.

A Unified Approach to Customer Service

To cater to their intertwined customer base, Vizrt and NewTek have been diligently integrating their customer service, R&D, support, university, and product divisions.

Following years of strategic investments, Vizrt and NewTek are consolidating to operate solely as Vizrt.

Expanded Opportunities for Collaborators

With a unified product ecosystem, partners can access the complete portfolio, facilitating new solution offerings and business expansion. Vizrt’s learning platform, Viz University, offers certification courses spanning studio, graphics, automation, live production, and cloud.

Innovations for End Users

Vizrt is set to broaden its product range, introducing a beginner-friendly video production system for streamers and content creators, alongside new cloud-based live production systems.

Vizrt’s goal is to equip all content creators, from individuals to global broadcasters, with top-tier storytelling tools and a versatile product range.

The Future of NDI and Vizrt Group

While NDI will continue as an independent brand, it will be backed by Vizrt. The Vizrt Group will now function under the Vizrt name. Ownership by Nordic Capital remains, with no changes in the board or leadership team.
