Witbe Cloud operates with its own autonomous system number (AS15436), allowing Witbe to deliver cloud services of the best quality in the region, which would not be possible otherwise.
Witbe, a specialist in test automation and proactive monitoring for video service providers, has announced that the company is expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region with new headquarters in Singapore and powerful Witbe Cloud network monitoring capabilities. The Singapore office will officially open on February 2nd with a grand ceremony attended by Witbe President and Co-Founder Marie-Véronique Lacaze, Senior Vice President and Co-Founder Jean-Michel Planche, and CTO Paul Rolland.
APAC represents one of the largest video streaming markets in the world. Witbe, a developer of hardware and software applications that allow video service providers to monitor the quality of their customers’ viewing experiences, has been present in the region since 2006. The company’s Singapore office will serve as its new APAC headquarters, demonstrating Witbe’s strong commitment to the Asian video streaming market and continued investment in working closely with local customers.
Witbe is also working to fulfill the growing demand for video service monitoring software in Asia by opening a new Witbe Cloud network point of presence (PoP) in the region, in addition to those already established in Europe and the Americas. In addition, Witbe hosts video monitoring technology connected through real, physical devices such as set-top boxes, mobile phones, and smart TVs in more than 45 cities worldwide.
“At Witbe, we invested very early on in APAC, so we’re proud to open our new permanent home in Singapore, which will allow us to better support video service providers in the region,” said Lacaze. “Our Asian team and I couldn’t be more excited to introduce the region to our best-in-class products.”
