This 1RU unit is an upgrade to the MIX Series, known for its mechanical controls and performance, and features new capabilities and design enhancements.
Key Features of iAM1-MIX8
The iAM1-MIX8 provides users with the ability to sum, mute, and solo channels in eight mono or stereo cluster configurations. It allows for monitoring and mixing, with cluster trim levels adjusted by the operator. These features, which contributed to the success of the previous MIX Series, remain central to the iAM1-MIX8.
Improvements include an updated touchscreen interface, improved screen graphics, and new tactile individual channel rotary encoders. These updates ensure that workflows are efficient and user-friendly, following the design principles of previous Wohler models.
Compatibility and Upgrade Options
The iAM1-MIX8 comes standard with 3G-SDI and two analog inputs/outputs. It is also MAVRIC-ready and offers several upgradeable options, including support for SMPTE-2110, SMPTE-2022-6, AES3, and MADI. A signal routing option is available for purchase during initial setup or as a later addition.
Additional rear panel option cards support AES67, Dante, Ravenna with hitless support, additional analog inputs, SFP inputs, and 12G-SDI, which includes remote video monitoring with MAVRIC. Standard features include high-quality speakers and a headphone jack.
