0

Xilica®, a renowned audio system manufacturer, and AVer Information Inc., a leader in visual collaboration solutions, have recently joined forces.

This collaboration aims to cater to the increasing demand for advanced Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) camera tracking in various collaborative environments. These include conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and multi-purpose spaces.

Seamless Control and Monitoring Integration

The partnership has led to the integration of AVer’s VISCA-based PTZ camera range with Xilica’s sophisticated room audio systems. This integration offers a straightforward, no-code experience for system integrators. They can now effortlessly incorporate AVer’s Pro AV cameras into their setups, specifically for voice-activated camera tracking. Xilica plans to incorporate this functionality into their room systems, compatible with popular beamforming microphone arrays. These arrays include the Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2, TeamConnect Ceiling Medium, Shure Microflex Advance MXA920, and the Yamaha Adecia RM-CG.

Advantages of Voice-Based Camera Tracking

Voice-based camera tracking is becoming increasingly popular in professional settings. It facilitates engaging and efficient meetings, presentations, and lectures. This technology ensures that both in-person and remote participants have a clear view of the ongoing activities without the need for a manual camera operator. It offers flexibility in room usage and accommodates various presentation styles, effectively covering multiple speaker locations.
